Originally from NY and in the field of Cosmetology since 1985 I decided to continue my education in Permanent Make-Up. I received my training and certification in Greensboro NC from a Master Certified Specialist Since 1987 and the Winner of several “Best Permanent Makeup Artist” awards who instilled into me her techniques, leadership skills and the key to professional success in permanent cosmetic make up. It is with this knowledge and skill I use a customized approach as PMU IS NOT A ONE SIZE FITS ALL!!! I am committed to providing the most artistic, most natural looking and customized Eyebrows. I look forward to making all my clients look and feel their best in my private, luxe microblading studio.
What is Microblading
Microblading is a form of cosmetic semi-permanent makeup performed using, a manual (not a machine) disposable handheld tool, composed with very fine needles resembling the shape of a blade (we call it a microblade), to hand draw each individual hair and simultaneously implant the pigment into the skin. Each new hair stroke that is drawn up is meant to simulate the clients natural eyebrow hair and seamlessly blend it with the client existing brows to add color and fullness resulting in a very natural look. This process ensures a customized shape, look, and feel that complements both your face and your personality.
Microblading eyebrows takes two appointments to complete. The technique and art of microblading is very delicate and for this reason it needs two visits to ensure that all the strokes are evenly saturated with pigment. The second appointment is called a touch-up and takes place 6 to 8 weeks after the initial appointment after the pigments settled into the skin. In this touch-up any needed adjustments are made to ensure each hair-stroke has even color.
